Priya
Marcus, I just noticed our team sync overlaps with the client call at three.
Marcus
Wait, seriously? I thought that got moved to Thursday last week.
Priya
Apparently the client pushed it back to today because their director is traveling.
Marcus
That's frustrating, but the client call obviously has to take priority here.
Priya
I agree, so let's just shift our sync to four and keep it short.
Marcus
Four works for me, but Elena has a dentist appointment right after lunch.
Priya
Right, and she mentioned she'd be back online by three thirty at the latest.
Marcus
Perfect, so four should give her plenty of buffer time to settle in.
Priya
Exactly, I'll send out a new invite and cc everyone who was on the original one.
Marcus
Good call, and maybe mention the reason so nobody's confused about the change.
Priya
I'll add a quick note explaining the client rescheduled instead of us being disorganized.
Marcus
Ha, fair enough, people always assume it's our fault when meetings get shuffled.
Priya
Not this time, though I'll admit our calendar has been a mess lately.
Marcus
True, but at least we caught this conflict before it caused real problems.
