Interviewer
We'd like to offer you the position, but let's talk about the salary range first.
Candidate
That sounds great, but I was hoping for something closer to fifty-five thousand a year.
Interviewer
Honestly, our budget usually tops out around fifty, but I could push a little further.
Candidate
I appreciate that, and I think my experience with client accounts justifies the extra amount.
Interviewer
Fair enough, so how about we settle somewhere around fifty-two thousand as a compromise?
Candidate
I can live with that, as long as we can also discuss flexible working hours.
Interviewer
Sure, what kind of flexibility are you looking for exactly?
Candidate
I'd love to start at nine-thirty instead of eight, since traffic is brutal in the mornings.
Interviewer
That shouldn't be a problem, as long as you're still available for the morning meetings.
Candidate
Definitely, I'll just join those remotely if I'm running a bit late.
Interviewer
Works for me, and would you also want to keep the option of working from home sometimes?
Candidate
Yes, maybe one day a week, if that's not too much to ask.
Interviewer
I think we can make that happen, so let's put everything in writing before you sign.
Candidate
Perfect, I'm really excited to get started with the team.
