Manager
So the numbers from last week are a bit lower than we projected, unfortunately.
Employee
Yeah, I noticed that too, but I think I can explain the dip.
Manager
Go ahead, I'm curious what happened on the production side.
Employee
Two of our suppliers fell behind on shipments, which slowed everything down.
Manager
Wait, seriously? Nobody flagged that to me until now.
Employee
I know, I should have escalated it sooner instead of trying to fix it myself.
Manager
Exactly, next time just loop me in right away so we can adjust the timeline.
Employee
That's fair, I'll send you a heads-up the moment something looks off.
Manager
Okay, so what's our plan for catching up before the quarterly review?
Employee
We're going to prioritize the top three accounts and push the smaller ones back.
Manager
That makes sense, as long as the clients don't feel neglected.
Employee
I've already reached out to reassure them, so we should be fine.
Manager
Good, and let's touch base again on Thursday to see where things stand.
Employee
Sounds good, I'll have an updated report ready by then.
